One of the things that makes the Gretzky games so fun, is tracking down all of the team sets. There are some very elusive sets, the Lightning, Devils, North Stars & Whalers are some of the most sought after and valuable teams. The Whalers are unique in that they are the only team to have three variations, the common green by Kevin Sports, the very difficult to find dark blue by Buddy L and the impossible to find light blue misprinted set by Buddy L.
And just today the light blue Whalers have finally arrived, check them out in all their glory:

I dont know the full story on how this happened but the issue stems from the Whalers switching jerseys at the same time the Gretzky games switched manufacturers. They were out on shelves with the incorrect colors and pulled pretty fast, which is why this set is the holy grail of GTH Collectors everywhere.
